As far back as I can remember I've enjoyed drawing but it became even more enjoyable when I discovered the work of M.C. Escher, a Dutch graphic genius who's optical illusions, impossible structures and tessellation work grabbed my curiosity and still does today.
Although my techniques and styles of work may have changed over the years the media I use remains the same, Pigment Ink, Graphite, pencil Crayons, Pastels & Gel Pens and all work is produced on High Quality Mount-board (Originals) all obtainable from the high street.
They say creation is the key to a happy life, this I can confirm as I'm sure most artists could, starting a new picture to me is like starting an adventure driven by curiosity and every time I create something new I learn something new that I can then carry on to the next picture.
There is an obvious technical influence in my work, this came from my school days but also from my interest in motorcycles.
I hope you enjoy your visit to the website and maybe you'll see something you like and if you don't I can carry out commissions that can be personalised making ideal presents.
